Is your façade failing due to weathering or other causes?

Exterior walls, pavements, balconies, and roofs deteriorate with time due to a number of reasons including freeze/thaw, ultraviolet radiation, rain, atmospheric pollutants, airborne salts, wind, and internal chemical and physical reactions.  Typical problems may occur such as: spalling of masonry or concrete surfaces; pitting, scaling, or “pop outs” on concrete or masonry surfaces; cracking; delamination of glazed surfaces; and in the worst case, total structural collapse.  Often there are symptoms of problems prior to the extreme deterioration that, if heeded, can lead to a resolution prior to the damage becoming excessive.  WDP’s materials and envelope experts develop solutions for façade failures by thoroughly documenting the conditions, investigating the causes and developing solutions.
