WDP & Associates provides forensic engineering, expert witness, litigation & insurance claims support services for structural system failures, building envelope performance failures, and construction disputes. We possess comprehensive engineering knowledge and a broad understanding of the behavior of specific materials and systems.

 

WDP’s Senior staff are recognized for applying a high level of analytics as a result of their specialized advanced engineering education, deep engagement in Industry Codes, Standards and testing methods, and extensive prior experience.  We are regarded as objective, thorough and capable of communicating complex issues in simplified terms.

WDP understands the importance of mobilizing a team quickly to gather time-sensitive forensic data, and our personnel understand the technical protocols and sensitive nature of such engagements.  To aid in our investigations, we maintain specialized equipment for performing destructive and nondestructive field testing that is calibrated in our in-house laboratory that is accredited by both the Washington Areas Counsel of Engineering Laboratories and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.  

We frequently use Computer Aided Modelling to illustrate and animate mechanisms of failure for explanation to clients and for Exhibits for mediation, arbitration or trials.
