Benjamin Townsend P.E., Senior Engineer I
  | 646.259.3199

Ben engages in both forensic field investigations and repair design work. He performs forensic field investigations of building façades, enclosure envelopes, and structures. He also performs architectural retrofit and repair, design repair documents, provides peer review recommendations, and provides Building Enclosure Commissioning (BECx) services.

"My work at WDP has provided me with a well-rounded perspective of how building enclosures and structures are constructed, maintained, and repaired. The time I have spent in the field inspecting new construction and performing non-destructive testing of existing buildings has given me practical insight on what does and does not work when I implement my own façade and structural repairs, or provide peer review input on the designs of others. Similarly, this experience aids me in the field of Building Enclosure Commissioning, where I work to implement solid, practical processes to ensure the quality of new building enclosure construction."
